Alexandra Collard writes about everything luxury!

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve run out of the house in the morning with a ten minute make up job barely covering the flaws or fixing the lashes.  In fact it would seem that more and more I find myself wearing less and less.  So, what happened, where did the time I used to spend on contouring and shading go?  It’s not like I have less hours in the day!  Perhaps my priorities have changed, the idea of getting up early just to work out seems far fetched for me now - let alone rising before dawn to apply the perfect amount of make up.  Do I still want to look attractive?  Of course I do, but I have to ask myself a different question these days and that is - what is acceptable? Versus, what is drop dead georgeous!  I would like to think I spend less time on my make up because I have yielded a talent for applying make up swiftly within seconds.  Though I have definitely improved in this artistry especially when I have time, unfortunately swiftness is not the case.  However, I do have to admit, there is one sure secret that always seems to work when the time limits are short.  And that is, to never leave the house without a coat of mascara and lick of lipstick!  A quick flutter of powder with a nice full brush will even out that skin tone pretty quick too and although like me you might not have men tripping over themselves as you walk by you’ll still manage to turn some heads in the rush to get where you’re going!
