DECONSTRUCTED – THE NEW FASHION TREND

As with every season there are key elements that make the collections cohesive and work within the frame of the designers thought process, however, this season seems to be slightly more disconnected. Designers such as DKNY and Proenza Schouler presented a new angle on how we see the lines or silhouette of a garment, where others focused heavily on exaggerated sleeves like Rodarte and Vera Wang. There are lots of trends to look out for from stripes, to sheers, but one thing that seemed to stand out most was the lack of normal soft and gentle spring femininity – instead collections reflected a statement of strength and sharp contrasts. We picked a few of the best looks that echo that mood which can work well with other pieces in your wardrobe.
